aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaWhen I was eleven years old, my Mother began dropping aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......me off at the museum for Saturday afternoon art classes every
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......summer. It was mostly to give herself a break rather than
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......any strong desire for my cultural enlightenment - I didn't mind.
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......I loved working with my hands and my imagination. And after
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......classes there was plenty of time for wandering the museum
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......galleries and losing myself in the mysterious, the unknown,
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......another world - an image world.

aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......aaIt was a world apart from the practical intentions that would
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......dominate the first ten years of my so-called adult life. My outer
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......life was thriving - but my inner life was suffering! A crisis was
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......brewing and when it unleashed its fury the questions breaking
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......up the 'head intentions' were this: How are you going to discover
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......the dynamic nature within you? How in the contemporary world
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......will you render thee most profound aspects of life??? These were
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......questions - for an artist.

aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......aaThe commitment to painting and drawing was thee most
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......natural decision I've ever made. It's not enough to just see the
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......profound images of the world - I need to be creating them!
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......I live for elevating, sustaining, and participating in the mystery
aaaaaaaaa......aaaaa.......and maintaining an imaginitive connnection to the world.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas well as the infinite. A
